Meet Our Board of Directors

Michael H. Head

President & CEO

Michael H. Head began his career with the Bank in 1980 and has served in a variety of capacities. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2004. Head earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana and then an MBA in Finance from the University of Evansville. 

E. Harvey “Skip” Seaman III

Chairman, First Federal Savings Bank

E. Harvey “Skip” Seaman III is a local businessman with a long history of building successful companies, including Product Acceptance & Research (PAR), a nationally known provider of marketing research and marketing services. While Mr. Seaman has since retired from PAR, he still is involved in several businesses in the Evansville area. Mr. Seaman has been a director since 2001 and was named Chairman of the Board in November 2019.

Gregory L. Haag

Gregory L. Haag is the President and owner of Haag Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. in Washington, Indiana. Mr. Haag is a former chairman/director of Home Building Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary, Home Building Savings Bank, FSB, which were acquired by the Company in 2006. He has been a director since 2006.

Randall M. Schulz

Randy Schulz, CPA is now retired but most recently served as Vice President of Harding, Shymanski & Company, P.S.C. Randy graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Accounting.  He currently serves on the advisory board for Young Life – Youth First and is on the board for Charlier Leadership Scholars.  Randy has been a director since 2015.

Dharmesh M. Patel, M.D.

Dharmesh M. Patel, M.D. is an active general surgeon with Evansville Surgical Associates. Dr. Patel also serves as Chief of Surgery at St. Vincent Evansville Hospital, and serves on the Regional Council of the Make a Wish Foundation. He has been a director since 2015.

Brian L. Taylor

Brian L. Taylor is the President of PAR IT Consulting, an information technology consulting company.  With a career in the IT field since 1996, Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Evansville.  He serves as President of the Evansville Audubon Society and is actively involved in the Arthritis Foundation at both local and national levels.  Brian has been a director with First Federal Savings Bank since 2019.

Kenan L. Schultheis

Kenan L. Schultheis is the Secretary Treasurer and Vice President of Schultheis Insurance in Evansville. He has been with the agency for over 40 years. He previously served on the State Auto Mutual Board of Directors. Kenan completed the Certified Insurance Counselor Program (CIC) in 1991 and the Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) certification in 2018. He has been a director since April 2021.

Carol McClintock

Carol McClintock joined the Board in June of 2021. She has been a Real Estate Broker since 1996 with F.C. Tucker Emge REALTORS®. Carol received her Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University and later earned her Masters of Public Administration from Indiana State. Her husband, Lloyd Winnecke, served as Mayor of the City of Evansville for 12 years. Before she started her realty career, she worked in the Marketing field at both Welborn Baptist Hospital and WNIN. Carol has extensive community involvement having served as Director of the Parks and Recreation, Vanderburgh County Commissioner, and the Deaconess Hospital Foundation.

Sharon Reed Walker

Sharon Reed Walker joined the Board in July of 2022. She is Founder and President of The Long View Group, LLC, a finance and strategy consulting firm. Walker, who holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, founded the firm after a successful 35-year corporate career which included tenured leadership assignments in Finance, Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions with Mead Johnson/Bristol-Myers Squibb, DuPont, Scott Paper and Soft Sheen Products, Inc. Walker is a member of the Board of Directors for Deaconess Health System in Evansville, Indiana and serves as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, Vice Chair of the Deaconess Hospital Board, and a member of Donaldson Capital Management Board of Directors.

Daniel Ziemer

Daniel Ziemer joined the Board in February of 2023. He is the third generation at Ziemer Funeral Homes, Inc. serving the Evansville community for 95 years. Daniel received his degree in Entrepreneurship from Ball State University. Mr. Ziemer is involved in various community organizations such as St. Benedict Cathedral Parish Council, Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus, and Kiwanis.

Phil Rawley

Phil Rawley joined the board in May of 2024.  Phil received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana.  He has been instrumental in establishing Tri-State Orthopaedics as the leading Orthopaedic Service Provider in the region over the past 13 years. Initially joining the organization as CFO, Phil’s exceptional leadership and financial acumen quickly earned him a dual role as CEO and CFO within six months. Under his guidance, the organization has achieved significant milestones, including the completion of the $95 million Ascension St. Vincent’s Orthopaedic Hospital in Southern Indiana, where Phil played a pivotal role in both the operational and financial aspects of the project.

Phil’s extensive expertise in business expansion through mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth has been a key driver of Tri-State Orthopaedics’ success. He has also spearheaded the creation of multiple ancillary spin-off companies, demonstrating a keen ability to perform rigorous due diligence, innovative structuring, financial modeling, capital investment, and effective negotiations.

Before joining Tri-State Orthopaedics, Phil gained valuable experience in Private Equity and with a publicly traded utility company over an eight-year period. His background includes constant M&A activity, long and short-term financial planning, launching a publicly traded company, business valuation, and international FX trading. Phil’s diverse experience is further reflected in his service on boards of nonprofit organizations, universities, publicly traded companies, and private enterprises, showcasing his commitment to leadership and governance across various sectors.

Gina Hermann

Gina Hermann joined the board in May of 2024 and brings extensive HR leadership experience, with 20 years in the field, most recently serving as HR Director at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Throughout her career, Gina has supported talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, DEI, M&A initiatives, corporate social responsibility, organization development, and other HR areas.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration.  Notably, Gina was the first female board President of the Evansville Airport Authority during her last two years on the board and also served on the Evansville Police Foundation board.

Gina and her husband, Nick live in Evansville with their two children and remain active in the community.
